My name is Rosangel, and I am one of the Producers of Cafecito Break, an Indie News Media Platform with unique access to report from inside City Hall in NYC. Our mission is to bring local stories to the community from an independent perspective, offering both mainstream and alternative insights that matter to our neighbors.
Running an independent news platform comes with many challenges. We are currently seeking support to cover our everyday costs, invest in new equipment and software, and manage travel expenses like taxis, food, and mileage. These resources are essential for us to continue our work, make important trips, and dedicate the time needed to deliver timely and accurate reports from the heart of New York City government.
